** BUFFALO CAULIFLOWER **
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 head cauliflower, broken into florets
1/2 cup non-dairy milk (used soy here)
1 Tbl apple cider vinegar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp white pepper
3 Tbl corn starch
1/4 cup franks red hot sauce (or other buffalo style hot sauce)
2 Tbl @thevegandairy cultured butter, melted
2 tsp maple syrup
METHOD:
💚 Preheat oven to 230C (450F)
💚 Mix together the milk, vinegar, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, starch and white pepper. Allow to sit for 5mins, it will thicken.
💚 Dip cauliflower into the mixture, coating completely. Tap off any excess and place on a baking paper lined tray.
💚 Bake for 20 minutes, flipping at the halfway point.
💚 While cauliflower is baking, mix together the hot sauce, melted butter and maple syrup.
💚 Brush the cauliflower with half of the hot sauce mixture and return to the oven for 10 minutes.
💚 Remove from the oven and toss in the remainder of the hot sauce mixture.
💚 Serve with the ranch dipping sauce
** RANCH DIPPING SAUCE **
INGREDIENTS:
1 packet @thevegandairy dill chevre
1.5 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 Tbl lemon juice
1 Tbl Non-dairy milk
1 tsp maple syrup
Salt and pepper to taste
METHOD:
💚 In a medium mixing bowl mash the dill chevre. Add in the onion and garlic powders, maple syrup and lemon juice and stir to combine.
💚 Thin the sauce out with the non-dairy milk. You may want to add more or less depending on whether you prefer a thicker or thinner dipping sauce. Add salt and pepper to taste
💚 Want to make it even easier? Add all ingredients to a blender and blend for 1-2mins.
