A snack that packs that flavour punch! 🤤 Try these delicious and hearty Bulger Neatballs! 🌟
INGREDIENTS
1 Cup Bulger
1/4 cup chopped soft green herbs (this is a mix of parsley and basil)
1.5 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1 can white beans, drained and rinsed
1/4 cup plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 red capsicum, finely diced
1/4 cup pitted Kalamata olives, roughly chopped
1 block @thevegandairy Dill Chèvre, diced
METHOD
Preheat oven to 180C. Soak bulger in boiled water for 10mins to soften. Drain the liquid before adding to a food processor along with the white beans, herbs, garlic and onion powders and oregano. Process until almost smooth. Stir in remaining ingredients. Form the mixture into balls and place on a baking tray. Bake for 30mins or until crispy and golden on the outside. Serve with a drizzle of lemon as a snack or appetiser, or add to your favourite Napoletana sauce (at the end of cooking) to make spaghetti and meatballs.
