In this episode of our ‘Toothpick Series’, perfect for summer share plates and little flavour explosions, we feature our Chilli Chives with Mango, Basil Leaves, and Sweet Paprika Chilli Powder.
1 block Chilli Chives Cheese
Large handful fresh basil leaves
Sweet paprika powder
PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER:
Chop your block of Chilli Chives into cubes, and do the same with your mango. Set these aside. In a little dish add some sweet paprika and chilli powder (the amount is up to your tastes!) and stir together to combine. Sit your mango cubes onto the paprika / chilli powder so just their bottoms gets coated. Grab your toothpicks and layer on cheese, folded basil leaf (or two), and mango and place onto a serving dish or board. Repeat until you have used up all your ingredients! Sprinkle the remaining paprika / chilli powder over the toothpicks at the end if you would like to add more kick, or leave it on the side as a dipping dish for those who do. Sweet and spicy, very nicey!! 🥭🌶
