Churro French Toast with Chocolate Creme…need we say more? 🎤👋
2-3 slices of brioche bread or thickly sliced bread
⅓ cup dairy free milk
2 tbsp flax seeds, ground (equivalent of 2 eggs)
Pinch of salt
Cinnamon Sugar Mixture:
1-2 tbsp cinnamon powder
¼ – ⅓ cup caster sugar

Berries of your choice to serve, if desired
In a bowl combine the milk, ground flaxseeds, and salt and mix well. On a plate combine and mix the cinnamon powder and sugar.
Prepare a pan and melt some butter over low heat. Be careful to not let the butter brown. Once the butter is melted over low heat, dip the bread slices into the egg mixture on both sides for a few seconds and place onto the pan to cook with the melted butter. Cook gently on both sides. If you prefer an “eggier” french toast, soak the bread for a few seconds longer and be sure to cook on the pan for longer too. Once cooked to your liking toss the cooked toast onto the cinnamon sugar mixture immediately and coat all sides. Place on a plate and serve with chocolate creme and berries.
