Craving something crispy, cheesy and plant-based? Try these vegan cheese spring rolls! They’re the perfect appetiser or snack that will satisfy all your cheesy cravings. Hannah used our Chilli Chive cheese for this one, which gave this recipe so much flavour! Give them a try and you won’t be disappointed!
1 x block of Chilli Chives cheese
1 x packet of spring roll pastry
4 x twigs of thyme
1 x tablespoon of garlic paste
2 x tablespoons of maple syrup
1/4 cup of Olive oil
1 x tablespoon of sesame seeds
1/3 cup of sweet and sour sauce
1 x pinch of salt
How to make:
– In a large bowl, add the chilli & chive cheese, thyme, garlic paste, and maple syrup. Mash everything
together into a chunky paste.
– Assemble each pastry and lightly coat with olive oil. Add the mixture to one side of the pastry and
roll your spring rolls. Brush more olive oil on top and sprinkle with sesame seeds. This made four large
rolls however you could half the pastry to make them more bite-size.
– Bake them on a baking tray for 10-15minutes at 220 degrees, or until lightly golden brown. Drizzle
sweet and sour sauce on top and a pinch of salt and enjoy
